Strike Graph, a cloud GRC platform helping customers pass their cybersecurity audit, raised a $3.9M seed round led by Madrona Venture Group. With this new raise they plan on growing their team and expanding to help more customers manage and automate compliance audits starting w/ SOC2. Compliance is a hot topic these days, as data privacy and security issues have been pushed to the forefront in many enterprise companies. As Geekwire said, “This team is going after a large and significantly growing opportunity to serve a sharp pain point for B2B businesses.”

WeeCare, which helps educators and caregivers start and manage successful home daycares, was featured in Forbes on “Why We Need Women in Tech.” Jessica Chang, Founder and CEO of WeeCare, started her company when she was faced with having to find affordable child care to enable her to continue working. Creating WeeCare not only helped her find childcare, but it is now “helping childcare professionals get better-paid and recognized jobs by creating a ready-to-use marketplace.” Jessica’s innovation only continues to grow as she and team have found ways to keep their daycares Covid-free, “which led to creating another company providing schools and universities with tech-enabled Covid-protection.” Women in tech are a vital part of creating modern day solutions and we are proud to back Jessica in hers.

Honeybee Health, an online pharmacy that sells generic medications without the need for insurance, has been nominated for this year’s dot.LA startup awards. Dr. Jessica Nouhavandi, CEO of Honeybee Health is in the running for the rising entrepreneur award for, “pioneering spirit and a promising future.” She has helped transform the pharma industry by cutting out the middleman to get people the generic drugs they need at affordable pricing, and is continuing to work to get Honeybee Health’s services to everyone.
